AI-assisted content may be reviewed or edited by people before publication. The presence of AI assistance does not change our responsibility for the information we publish.
Realistic generated or manipulated media
Where content constitutes a realistic AI-generated or manipulated depiction of real people, places or events and disclosure is required, it should be clearly identified at the point of viewing.
Public-interest text
Where AI-generated or manipulated text is published for the purpose of informing the public on matters of public interest and applicable law requires disclosure, an appropriate disclosure should be provided.
Illustrative content
Decorative or obviously illustrative material may be described through page context or this transparency notice where a more prominent label is not required.
